Low pressure off East Coast seems to be helping out with the hurricane situation, this year. Storms are forming in the Atlantic, but are steering well north before nearing the US. I'm still tracking them, though.

Just finished reading "The Hot Kid" by Elmore Leonard. Great book, if you like gangsters and stuff.

I seem to be having an identity crisis of sorts. It's hard to explain. I get the impression that people have a hard time remembering me. Like they meet me and instead of forgetting just my name, they forget me entirely. My neighbor down the street works here, and we occasionally run into each other, and he has no idea who I am. Others here at work do the same thing - appear like they've never seen me before even though we've sat through meetings together, or whatever.

Strange. Maybe I need a new look. Maybe I blend in too well. I bet I could get a job as a spy for the feds, and I'd be the best spy ever.
